To celebrate and promote the launch of a new font family by UK-based type foundry Fontsmith, we were invited—along with 10 other design studios worldwide—to design a poster using only one weight of the typeface.
Phil Garnham, the type designer, described the font as a humanist alternative to classic neutral modernist fonts, and intended to design a font with character, warmth, and imperfection.
Our response was based on the concept of FS Emeric playing the ‘anti hero’.
