Joe Burrin is a seasoned Designer and Creative Director with over 25 years of experience shaping brands and leading creative projects. Born in the UK and now based in Amsterdam, Joe has played a significant role in the branding and advertising efforts of numerous global brands.
After graduating from Central Saint Martins, Joe co-founded the design collective B.C.D. (Big Corporate Disco / British Creative Decay), where he collaborated with brands like Adidas, Diesel, and Sleazenation Magazine. His tenure at Spin in London further solidified his reputation, working on projects for Nike, The Photographers’ Gallery, and Deutsche Bank.
At Wieden+Kennedy in Amsterdam, Joe served as Creative Director and Head of Design, managing the agency's visual output and leading design projects for global clients including Montblanc, Coca-Cola, Heineken, Evian, and Ray-Ban. He also contributed to the Dutch culture sector, rebranding institutions like The Eye and Huis Marseille Photography Museum.
In addition, he has considerable editorial experience, most notably working with It’s Nice That for several years on various publications.
Joe‘s work has received recognition from prestigious awards such as Cannes Lions, D&AD, and The One Show, and has been featured across various creative industry platforms. His journey reflects a commitment to excellence and innovation in the field of design and creative direction.
